4 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tours

4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert and Dades valley , one of the best trip from Marrakech to do, this allow you to Visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Casbah Ait Ben Haddou. Drive along Dades Valley, Todra gorges ; Enjoy a spectacular Merzouga desert sunset camel ride. Spend the night in a Berber desert camp in the desert.

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait ben Haddou - Rose Valley

After breakfast, Transfer across the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) to Ouarzazate, via the tichka pass and over to telouet and its famous Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui, you will head towards Ait ben hadou kasbah ,continuation to ouarzazate ,there you will have time for lunch and visit of the 17th century kasbah of Taourirt and the atlas studio. after lunch ,you head towards to Rose valley, Dades Valley and the route of the kasbahs., dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Rose Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast , we drive to the Todra gorges and then way to Merzouga through several beautiful desert towns; Tinjdad, Erfoud & Rissani, arrival to Merzouga.Diner and overnight in Hotel

Day 3: Merzouga Desert

After breakfast , and after visiting the Merzouga oasis you drive (by 4x4 ) towards the lake sirji then the village of the black people ,originally from sudan ,khamlia, to meet some families with whom you will enjoy the Tea à la menthe and some Gnaoua music , then carry on driving to reach Mirdani village ( old ruined village ) with a stop in M'fis , the place of the coal and cooper mines from where most of the people in Merzouga used to make their living .
One interesting day , all the driving will be in and nearby the sand dunes ( the highest dunes in morocco ) .after Mirdani village you carry on to meet the bidouin families in kem-kem hamada enjoy tea with them then drive back to ksar bicha hotel in Merzouga ..... In the afternoon , at 15h00, you will mount your camel to cross the dunes and discover the secret of the sand sea .our stop will be in a small oasis .enjoy the silence of the desert , appreciate the beauty of nature .attend the sunset .night in private Berber tents .

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Draa valley - Marrakech

After attending the sunrise and after your breakfast , you mount your camel to cross back the dunes to the hotel .have a shower, then departure to Rissani, visit the souk and the ruined kasbah of sijilmassa,famous Fida kasbah ,ziz valley continuation to Alnif ,Tazarine enjoy the Draa valley on the way to Ouarzazate, then Marrakech via tizi -n-tichka pass with a stop to discover the tamnougalt Kasbah near Agd'z .arrival to Marrakech around 16h00. end of our service.
