Day 1 : Marrakech city
A turn around in the red city of Marrakech starts by the Bahia authentic palace, and then the little paradise like garden of Majorelle, the ancient Saadian tombs then go to the famous Jamaa El Fna square, entertainment all day long. Lunch in a restaurant, then a free time in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 2 : Marrakech- Safi
After having breakfast in the hotel, departure to Safi on the national road through Chemaia. Lunch there in Safi and then go to visit the famous fishermen pottery making. There are 157 km to drive between Marrakech and Safi.
Day 3 : Safi- Essaouira
Departure towards Essaouira after breakfast. It is a wonderful trip on the national road along the Atlantic sea shore. Some stops are planed to visit villages on our way before arriving to Essaouira, El Mogador as it is called formerly. Have lunch there, the afternoon can be spent to make a long walk in the fortified old sea shore city. We spend the night over there. 129 km between Safi and Essaouira.
Day 4 : Essaouira- Agadir
Free morning there to enjoy the peaceful freshness and also to experience the daily life of the local people, and then maybe try the delicious fresh fish meals for lunch, as they are well done there, and then departure to Agadir, the capital of Souss Massa Draa region. Again, the road is along the seashore, here you can see the famous Argane trees. Overnight stay in Agadir. 173 km between the two cities.
Day 5 : Agadir
Breakfast in your hotel, then after go to visit the Ida Outanane lands to enjoy the fresh air in the Imouzzer waterfalls and Agadir N’oufla at the end. Spend the night in Agadir.
Day 6 : Agadir- Taroudant- Taliouine
Enjoy the delicious breakfast, departure after that in the 4x4 leaving Agadir straight to Taroudant passing through a big Argane trees forest. We will make a lunch stop on the way, and then continue with some stops for some short walking around and pictures making, the beautiful landscapes worth that. We will arrive to Taliouine by the end of the day, the Safran city. We spend the night in the inn. 170 km driving between Agadir and Taliouine.
Day 7 : Taliouine
Have breakfast and then departure to Foum Zguid village through Taznakht, the capital of colored carpets, then go on to the palm grove of Foum Zguid where we will have lunch, after lunch leave there taking the off road so as to discover the wide desert of the south of Morocco. Passing near the Iriqui Lake, many beautiful birds can be seen especially when water is there before we arrive to the sandy off road until the Chegaga sand dunes. Tents in the bivouac are set and wait for your arrival. A mint tea and dinner, then overnight stay under the nomad tent. 200 km between Taliouine and Chegaga.
Day 8 : Chegaga - Mhamid
Early wake up for a romantic sunrise, have breakfast and then departure to experience the adventure of riding the 4x4 through the sand dunes, oasis and Hamada. We make a stop in the ‘Oued N’aam’ plateau, area known for its fossils; we may grab some if you want and time allows it. We go on until ‘Mouzmou’ where we have lunch under the shadow of a Tamarisk tree. Camels will be waiting for us to make a ride to discover the whereabouts. Tea and dinner will be served around a camp fire with some entertainment, then go to rest under the nomad tent. 62 km between Chegaga and Erg Lihoudi.
Day 9 : Mhamid- Ouarzazate
We can dare to wake you up early if you love to watch a superb sunrise, get back to the bivouac for breakfast and then pack your stuff to leave to Ouarzazate via Zagora; we visit the Amezrou palm grove and the Jews old Kasbah. A lunch stop after that then drive along the Draa Valley and Palm grove, several stops to make pictures for the old Kasbahs and ksars all the way long. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Ouarzazate. 225 km from Erg Lihoudi to Ouarzazate.
Day 10 : Ouarzazate- Marrakech
Breakfast in the terrace in your hotel then departure to visit the Atlas cinema studios used for shooting movies among many well known like ‘A tea in the Sahara’- ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ ‘Gladiators’ – ‘Babel’ and many others… Then ride the 4x4 to drive on the national road crossing the High Atlas mountains through the Tichka pass, we stop at half way for lunch then drive on to be in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
